How it started...
Solent Beds & Furniture started when our founders noticed a lack of availability of well-designed and affordable homewares on the Isle of Wight. This started a notion to provide accessible furniture to Islanders, who otherwise would have to travel to the mainland or shop online to purchase the newest designs and the top brands.

Being a family run business with years of experience in the furniture industry, we pride ourselves on offering a personal shopping experience that is as easy and hassle-free as possible; so our first mission to provide the best quality furniture at the best prices to people here on the island is still very much central to everything we do. Our informative team undergo training with our suppliers and are always happy to assist with your queries, whether in-store or online. This includes the duty of care that comes with our products. Today, we have two beautifully presented showrooms and a high spec ecommerce platform which allows us to showcase a large range of beautiful furniture collections, sofas, and beds in styles to suit every home and budget. We work tirelessly to ensure we are always refreshing and updating our products to bring the newest and most relevant homeware brands and trends to your home.
To meet the demands of modern ways of shopping, we have dramatically increased our warehouse capacity to be able to offer quick delivery on thousands of our best-selling products. This means on many sofas, mattresses, wardrobes, coffee table and beds, there is no lead time to wait, and we can deliver to any IOW address on the next day there is delivery availability.
